What do you love about boxing? How did you get into training? What are you fighting for?
Boxing for me signifies the battle within oneself to push the mind, body and spirit past what you think possible. That idea is what drew me in. I was always an athlete growing up, but decided to fight competitively in my mid-twenties. Fortunately, I found the right trainer and a supportive community to lead me through the rigors of amateur boxing. The work ethic, mental focus and necessity to stay in the moment that boxing teaches translates to my work as an actor in theatre, television, and film. I’m fighting to be the most fully realized version of myself physically, mentally and spiritually.
Describe your style of teaching.
My goal is to agitate and inspire. The focus is always on boxing form and technique while ensuring your heart rate will skyrocket through high intensity calisthenics guaranteeing a full body workout.
